Oscar Sunday is huge day, not just for the nominees that are in line for an Academy Award but also for all of the entertainment and movie fans across the globe. Millions will be tuning in to see who scoops the awards for the best picture of teh year, best actress, best actor amongst others.

Many, many people will also want to see if Natalie Portman really wins best actress, and to see how James Franco and Anne Hathaway perform as the hosts. But there are some big questions, well one burning one. What is the Oscars 2011 start time? What channel are they on and are you ready?The red carpet coverage starts at 6PM ET / 5PM CT / 3PM PT,on several channels but the E! one with Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic is pretty popular. The big show, what everyone wants to see starts at 8PM ET / 7PM CT / 5PM PT and is on ABC.

So an exciting prospect tonight for entertainment fans and many will be putting their hopes on certain nominees to take home the goods.

Charlie Sheen's co star on "Two and a Half Men", Jon Cryer has spoken out about his reaction to the show getting cancelled and he has said that he is "shocked" about what he heard and he is the first castmember to speak out following this week's sudden turn of events with the show.

Commenting via Twitter, Cryer wrote: “It’s too sad! Sorry guys, that you must hear so bad news! I’m also shocked!” Cryer, who plays Sheen’s brother on the long-running CBS hit, retweeted a follower who commented “Two and a Half Men is axed.”CBS pulled the plug on its top-rated comedy following Sheen’s string of hostile interviews earlier this week bashing Men executive producer Chuck Lorre. Famous comedian Denis Leary tweeted, "Is it just me or is Charlie Sheen starting to sound a lot like Moammar Kaddafi?"

So Jon Cryer, his main co star on the show has given his reaction along with other celebrities, who next will reveal more on the strange outburst from Sheen?

It seems to be that the Twitter server is down at the moment and users can't access the site. The status site has left a note saying “Currently experiencing elevated error rates — You may experience some problems loading twitter.com and with Twitter clients. We are aware of the problem and are taking action.”

Based on some searches on Google, it does appear that some people are able to post messages — it does look like if you use a third-party client (Seesmic, HooterSuite, TweetDeck) you might still be able to get in. This is the first time for an extended Twitter outage in quite a long time. In the old days of Twitter outages, we would all hop on the bus to Friendfeed but that is no longer an option since many have left that service. If you are a social media ninja, social media rockstar and are really upset or need someone to talk to because of this outage, please call 867-5309.

So it seems a lot of people who use the Twitter site will be disgruntled with the technical fault and will want to know why it occured.

Charlie Sheen has been caught on microphone sticking it to his boss and the penalty for the loose tongue has been harsh and immediate. The show in which he has kept his name famous in recent years, "Two and a Half Men" has been cancelled and he is out of a job.

CBS and Warner Bros. Television, which produces the hit sitcom, shut down the show for the rest of the season. The decision was based on a series of interviews in which Sheen excoriated “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre, first on Alex Jones’ conspiracy-minded radio show, and then to TMZ.com. “I’ve spent, I think, close to the last decade, I don’t know, effortlessly and magically converting [Lorre’s] tin cans into pure gold,” he told Jones. “And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.” Angry that the show didn’t resume production when he felt ready, Sheen slammed Lorre as a “clown” and referred to him as “Chaim Levine,” a Hebrew variation on his birth name, Charles Levine.

So Sheen has had to pay a heavy price for airing his views as brutal as he did and he will no doubt be regretting it.

lincoln tunnel accident

More news on the accident that occurred in the Manhatten-bound center tube of the Lincoln Tunnel early this morning, has been revealed. The New York Fire Department claim two buses crashed into a motorbike in the tunnel. The Motorcycylist is apparently severely injured and had been taken to Bellevue Hospital in Manhatten.

He has received a fractured femur and shoulder, an NYFD spokesperson said. The crash victim was intubated at the hospital, the spokesperson added. A total of 52 people were injured in the incident. Some were treated at the scene, while 13 were taken to Roosevelt Hospital in New York. North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue Co-Director Jeff Welz spoke with Port Authority officials who estimated that the center tube will remain closed for a "good part of the day" as officials investigate the accident.

So a shocking accident and hopefully there were no extreme ramifications for the people injured in it.

Charlie Sheen has played the field as of late, being seen with many female friends but it appears only one of them is the apple of his eye. The star of "Two and a Half Men" has been seen partying hard with porn stars and prostitutes but now it appears he is focused on one report radar online and that is a 24-year old woman called Natalie Kenly.

Kenly, the site says, is a graphic designer who was a cheerleader at Sherman Oaks HIgh School in Los Angeles. She also has a history of partying -- though, while Sheen has been a wild child since the 80s, Kenly was arrested for underage drinking in 2006. So there's a bit of an age gap. Sheen and Kenly were seen smooching on Tuesday(pictured left). At the time, Sheen wasn't too interested in sharing her identity with the world (unless she has a very unique nickname), telling inquiring reporters, "None of your f**king business."

So it appears the classic 80's actor has found a new flame with this young lady and time will tell how long it lasts.

deadliest catch star found dead

Fisherman on the show "Deadliest Catch", Justin Tennison was found dead on Tuesday and as of yet the causes to the passing are unknown. The member of the Time Bandit fishing crew was found in a motel room in Alaska. Beer, hard liquor and a minimal amount of marijuana were found with him reported a policeman by the name of Randy Rosencrans.

Police believe a party was held in the room on Monday night - two rooms were registered under Tennison's name and nearby guests complained about the noise. Foul play isn't suspected, Rosencrans said. An autopsy by the state medical examiner's office was scheduled to take place later Wednesday. The 34-year-old Tennison is set to make a posthumous debut in the Discovery Channel series' seventh season, which is scheduled to begin in April, Discovery spokesman Josh Weinberg said.

So a puzzling and sad demise of the Tv fisherman and surely more information surrounding the cause will be revealed in time.
